Thinking of writing a book?
Your memoirs, maybe, or perhaps a how-to book? Maybe you’ve got an idea for the next great non-fiction bestseller but you just don’t have the time or expertise to write it yourself.
You’ve come to the right place. I’m an award-winning ghostwriter and I can take something from the stage of a mere idea floating around in your head, all the way to something that is publishable. I also teach workshops on memoir writing and am the author of Writing Memoir: The Practical Guide to Writing and Publishing the Story of Your Life. I’ve ghostwritten or edited over thirty books for a wide range of clients and I know I can help you, too.
Best of all, you’ll get all the credit. As your ghostwriter, I’ll help you get your ideas in print while keeping our relationship strictly confidential. (In case you're wondering, it's only with the explicit permission of my clients that I'm able to utilize the above book covers.)
For most books, my fee typically runs between $30,000 and $40,000 and the process works like this: We’ll start with me gathering all the information I need to write a very detailed outline. I recommend we do this in person and I’ll come to where you are at my expense. The outline will become the framework for your book. From there, we’ll conference regularly by phone and communicate by email as I compose the book step by step, chapter by chapter. I won’t move on to the next chapter until you’re satisfied with the previous one. We’ll stick to a schedule and have your book completed in a reasonable time frame, typically within six months.
